# Foreground Options

The foreground of your QR code, sometimes referred to as 'Dots' serve as the main visual element and where the data you are encoding is stored.

You can start modifying the options to style your QR code exactly to your needs.

### Foreground Colour

Select a colour for your foreground. This can be any hexadecimal colour chosen via the colour picker or can have a dynamic value.

### Style

This is the style of the 'Dots'. The available Options are :&#x20;

* Square
* Dots
* Rounded
* Extra Rounded
* Classy
* Classy Rounded

### Foreground Colour Gradient

If you prefer a colour gradient as opposed to a solid colour fill, you can 'Enable Foreground Colour Gradient'. The gradient type can be set to :&#x20;

* Linear
* Radial

You can also adjust the angle of the linear gradient by entering an numerical angle value from 0 - 360

Select the start and end colour of your gradient.
